Career Change Workshop
The changing face of employment has left many people downsized or dissatisfied
with their chosen field. Many are re-entering the workforce after long
periods of voluntary or involuntary unemployment. This workshop will help
participants assess their skills, interests, values and attitudes toward
making a career transition and present steps in planning a successful transition
into the work world.
Monday, September 13, 1999 7:30 to 9:30 p.m., Tilles Center, Room
W-1
What to Look for When Buying a Personal Computer
A seminar designed to answer frequently asked questions about your personal
and business computing needs. How much memory should you have and how
large a hard disk should you buy? What software is required to meet your
objectives? This session will help computer users decide what type of system
their requirements demand and how to put that system together. Learn about
the different computer options available and how to evaluate computer package
offers.
Saturday, September 18, 1999 9 to 10 a.m., Humanities Hall
Seating for each seminar is limited, and registration is required. For
