C.W. Post Launches GMAT and LSAT Review Courses
College students preparing to take the GMAT and LSAT exams can improve
their test scores and learn extensive test-taking strategies through a
review program now being offered by the School of Continuing Studies at
the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University. The Cambridge Review TestPrep
program is designed to raise students' scores and chances of getting into
a top-notch graduate or law school.
The Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT), a 3.5-hour computer
exam, is used as an admissions criterion by many MBA and accounting programs.
It is broken down into two 30-minute essays, a 75-minute verbal session
and a 75-minute quantitative section. The C.W. Post review program provides
students with textbooks, a simulated CD ROM test and official practice
exams.
The Law School Admissions Test (LSAT) is the standard for admission
to law school. It is a multiple-choice test focusing on reading comprehension,
analytical and logical reasoning and writing. There's also a "wild
card" section. The C.W. Post test program includes all course materials,
including textbooks, CD ROM and official practice exams.
Tuition for each course is $400 for 24 hours of instruction. Evening
and weekend hours are available. To register today, call the School of
Continuing Studies at (516) 299-2236.
