C.W. Post to Offer Graduate Nutrition Course
at Suffolk Community College


December 7, 1999 - The C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University in Brookville will help graduate nutrition students attend classes closer to home by offering "Nutrition in the Life Cycle" at Suffolk County Community College's Ammerman Campus in Selden.

The course will be held on Mondays, beginning Monday, January 31, 2000, from 6 p.m. to 7:50 p.m. This three-credit course will cover the changes in nutrition requirements that occur during the human life cycle, particularly as they relate to growth, development and aging. The psychosocial aspects of food will also be studied, as will the special needs, developmental characteristics, risks and issues common to various age groups.
