Globalization of Business Creates MBA

C.W. Post Offers New Concentration in International Business
January 13, 2000 - The flood of economic and political changes
in the 1990s - the introduction of the Euro, the globalization
of markets and the breakdown of international barriers - has
created a demand for individuals who understand the complex requirements
of international business. To meet the growing needs of global
industries, international governments and local corporations,
the College of Management at the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island
University will offer an undergraduate concentration in International
Business starting in the Spring 2000 semester.
In addition to providing students with a strong foundation
in the liberal arts and sciences, this new curriculum will provide
an opportunity for business students to obtain cross-cultural
managerial exposure, learn about international business operations
and, upon graduation, enhance their overall value to the global
business community.
Classes for the Spring semester begin on January 20. For additional
information about bachelor's and master's degree programs offered
