C.W. Post Theatre Department Announces Spring Offerings
List Includes American Theatre Festival April 7-16


The Theatre Department at the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University in Brookville, NY has announced its Spring 2000 line-up. It will contain a varied and entertaining melange of drama, farce, improvisation and mime in addition to the comedic offerings of the highly popular American Theatre Festival slated for the second week of April. Offerings
include the following:

  • Tuesday, April 7: Bob Berky appears for one performance only and presents his popular combination of theatrical clowning and mime. 7 p.m., Hillwood Lecture Hall, Hillwood Commons, C.W.   • April 7 to 16: Absolute Turkey: a wildly funny farce written by the master of the form, Georges Feydeau. 8 p.m. each night except matinee performances at 3 p.m. on Sunday April 9 and 16, Little Theatre, C.W.   • Saturday, April 15: Comedy Sportz in Performance: this well-known Philadelphia improvisation group, along with students from C.W.
