C.W. Post Exhibit Commemorates "Non-Violence:
the Global Choice"

March 3, 2000 - The B. Davis Schwartz Memorial Library of
the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University is celebrating
the non-violence movement with an exhibit of C.W. Post students'
photographs on the theme of non-violence.
The exhibit - titled "Non-Violence: the Global Choice"
- will be displayed from March 15 to April 4 in the main lobby
of the Library. Hours are 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Thursday;
8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday; 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday; and
noon to 8 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is free and the public is
invited to view the display.
The Library will also commemorate the season of non-violence
with a special series of lectures and discussions, including:
- "Ghandi in the 21st Century," by Dr. Uday
Naval, president, Society of Indian Academics
