Free Paralegal Career Seminars at C.W. Post


March 21, 2000 - The Paralegal Studies Program in the School of Continuing Studies at the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University in Brookville will conduct career seminars to help prospective students learn about the varied career and employment opportunities available in the paralegal profession.

The seminars will be held on Tuesday, April 25 and Tuesday, May 16 in Tilles Center, Room W1. All seminars are free and begin at 7 p.m.

In addition to meeting practicing paralegals and talking to faculty, attendees will be able to learn about the responsibilities of a paralegal, employment placement services, admission requirements, financial aid, and course content including computer/Lexis training.

Interested students can register for classes which begin in June.
Day classes meet five days a week and run from Monday, June 5 to Friday, September 1, 2000. Evening classes meet three days a week and run from Monday, June 5 to Wednesday, December 20, 2000.
