Ethos Workshop
- This course is a disciplinary sanction assessed to students who have been found responsible for a serious violation of Campus and/or Residence Life policy and/or students who have demonstrated a concerning lack of respect for their community.
- The purpose of this course is to educate students to make better, more informed decisions regarding respecting themselves, others, and their communities.
- In order to complete the workshop, students must: arrive on time, participate in the session, and complete the required homework assignment.
- Students will receive credit for the workshop once the assignment is received by the instructor and evaluated for appropriate content. The instructor will then sign-off on the sanction.
- Students must attend one of the sessions indicated by the sanctioning officer, as outlined in the disciplinary decision letter. It is the student’s responsibility to let the sanctioning officer know if they must switch the session to which they are assigned. Any request for an exception must be made in writing either to the sanctioning officer or Ms. Tara Martin, Residence Hall Director of Suffolk Hall and Student Conduct Compliance Officer. Requests for class date changes must be made in advance of the scheduled session date.
