Who should attend?
All new students enrolled at C.W. Post, including First Year
Undergraduate Students, Graduate Students, Transfer Students, and
Non-Traditional Students (Undergraduate Students over the age of
25).
Why should I come to orientation?
Orientation is a sneak preview into live at C.W. Post. You
will have the chance to learn about campus life, meet faculty and
staff, speak with student leaders, and have a great time with your
new classmates?
What will I have a chance to do?
You will have a chance to meet new friends and classmates, meet
professors from different programs, joint a student
club/organization, and also apply for a work study job!
What will I be able to enjoy?
You will be able to enjoy living in a residence hall,
participating in activities throughout each day and each night, and
late night pizza!
Is Orientation Mandatory?
Orientation is not mandatory, but it is strongly recommended.
It gives you an idea of what to expect during your first year at C.W.
Post and a change to answer any questions or concerns you may have!
Is orientation for families?
On the Saturday of each weekend session, there is a special
Orientation designed for families. The cost is $30 per person,
which includes meals and services provided throughout the day.
This payment should be included with the student payment &
registration form.
What if I can't make it to orientation?
Orientation Session V (September 7, 2006) is designed for all
students who were unable to attend one of the weekend Orientation
programs. There is no cost for this session.
How do I register for orientation?
Invitations to attend orientation containing a registration card
and detailed information will be sent out in March. To
register, please fill out the attached form, enclose a payment, and
send it to the address provided. Registration information and
forms can also be found at this site.
What is the cost for orientation?
The Orientation fee for Sessions I-III is $85 per student.
There is no charge for Sessions IV & V. We accept cash and
checks.
