Cover from a C.W. Post College 1964-65 viewbook.
This photograph has two historical points of interest. The photo shows Riggs Circle, which was a parking lot in front of Riggs and Post Residence Halls. In 1997 the parking lot was removed and replaced with a grassy area to give students a park setting by the residence halls. The second interesting feature about this historic photograph is the name on the building pictured. The building is labeled Marjorie Post May Hall (in honor of the daughter of C.W. Post). Within weeks of the letters being installed on the building Marjorie May and Herbert May divorced and the letters were quickly switched to indicate Mrs. May’s maiden name Marjorie M. Post Hall. The building is still known as Post Hall today.
